Cody's Interviews

Survivalist Cody Lundin at Penn State
Speaking to a packed auditorium at Penn State on Thursday January 20th, Cody in his cut off jean shorts, bandanna and of course his signature bare feet spoke about being prepared not just in the wilderness but also in everyday situations.

Speaking to a packed auditorium

As Cody said in the 90 minute lecture  “if you don’t tell anyone where you are, you have a problem”.

You need to be able to survive in a wilderness situation for a least 72 hours period and that is if you had let someone know where you might be. Cody explained that you need to be able to make and find shelter to keep warm and find a water source.

With that Cody showed off his little back of survival goodies that he takes with him on any wilderness outing no matter if it’s for his Aboriginal Living Skills School or heading in the wilderness in his spare time.

Talking being prepared

Cody talked about using bleach for disinfecting water especially comes in handy with the amount of natural disasters in the last few years and how just a few crops of blench can save you a whole lot of hurt with water borne viruses  never mind the added burden of being sick in a survival situation.
